With hundreds of actively operating 100 Who Care giving circles around the world, and many currently under development to launch sometime this year, this is a rapidly growing movement. If you love the idea of this simple, yet impactful, way to make a difference and want to start a 100 Who Care giving circle in your community, we have compiled resources from other giving circles around the world to help you!
Follow these three easy steps to determine if starting a giving circle is right for you and your community.
PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES BEFORE YOU EMAIL US DIRECTLY! THE STEPS BELOW WILL GUIDE YOU TO INFORMING US OF YOUR INTENT TO FORM A GIVING CIRCLE AND OUR FORM BELOW GIVES YOU AN OPPORTUNITY TO ASK SPECIFIC QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND ON THIS WEBSITE. THIS PROCESS IS THE MANNER IN WHICH YOU “REGISTER.”
First:
- Don’t forget that the Alliance is all volunteer and is NOT a rules or governing body. This means you are in control of how you and your teams run your giving circle.
- Have you checked our list of existing giving circles to see if there is already one operational in your town? That isn’t to say you can’t start a second (or third, as some cities are rather large). If you find one in a nearby area we suggest reaching out to them to ask questions about how they got started. You may even want to attend one of their upcoming giving circle events if you haven’t already attended one.
- Have you conducted a Google search in case we missed one? (We aren’t perfect.)
- Have you identified a group of like-minded individuals who believe in this as much as you do and would want to help you get started? You don’t have to, but it might be even more fun!

Once you have made the decision to take the next steps and develop a new giving circle, please complete our intent form to let us know.
We will add you to our list of developing giving circles and we may even be able to connect you with others in your area who have expressed interest in starting a giving cirlce. Additionally, we will also be able to keep you up-to-date with Alliance news and information as it comes up. Please note, there may be other giving circles forming that we don’t know about! Filling out this form helps everyone connect, thereby introducing you to potential new friends, steering team leadership and members. Once you are actively operating, with your first meeting date scheduled, we will make you “live” on our list of existing giving circles. So please take the first step and complete this form.
